Often faced with insufficient Free Shipping Vouchers at Shopee?

19/02/2022

Do you often run out of Free Shipping Vouchers at Shopee? You may consider activating the SPayLater service to receive more Free Shipping Vouchers.

In recent months, Shopee has been giving out fewer and fewer Free Shipping Vouchers, with only 2 Free Shippping Vouchers per user per month and only a limited number of 3 Free Shipping Vouchers for certain promotions, which is not enough for frequent online shoppers.

If you are aware, Shopee offers a number of Free Shipping Vouchers exclusive to SPayLater users, and if you have SPayLater enabled, you can receive and use these Free Shipping Vouchers.

SPayLater is Shopee’s buy now, pay later service, which allows users to purchase online first and pay for the previous month’s bill the following month. Users can also choose to pay their bills in installments, which can be spread over a maximum of 6 months.

If you are interested in using the SPayLater feature, there are a few things you should keep in mind before using Shopee SPayLater to get the best out of the buy now, pay later benefit and avoid falling into the debt trap.

To use SPayLater, you must first be a Malaysian citizen of 18 years of age or older and have a valid Malaysia Card. When SPayLater is not yet activated, the system will show that you are entitled to a spending limit of up to RM6,000.

It is important to note that not all users are entitled to the RM6,000 spending limit, Shopee’s system will determine the spending limit based on the user’s payment history and spending behavior.

Before using SPayLater, you have to know 2 dates, the Billing Date and the Due Date. The so-called Billing Date is the date Shopee issues a bill, and the Due Date is the date by which the user must pay the bill or be charged an additional 1.5% per month.

The billing date for old users is the 1st of each month, and the cut-off date is the 10th of each month. For new customers, the billing date will be the 21st of the month and the due date will be the 1st of the month.

If you are frequently late with your payments, your Shopee account may face the following restrictions, i.e. restrictions on using Shopee Vouchers and restrictions on using certain Shopee App features.

If you are using the installment feature of SPayLater, you will be charged a 1.25% fee per month. For those who pay monthly with new purchases, there is no fee.

To use SPayLater, you can open Shopee and go to the Profile section, then find the SPayLater feature.
