OCBC has launched a bundled offer for time deposits and savings accounts, with a preferential time deposit interest rate of 4.18% p.a.
Overseas Chinese Bank (OCBC) launches fixed deposit and savings account bundle offer (AlwaysON Fixed Deposit/-i Campaign). This offer requires savers to divide their funds into two parts, with 90% deposited in time deposits and 10% deposited in the OCBC 360 Account savings account.
The minimum fixed deposit deposit amount for this offer is RM1,000. The offer is valid from November 15 to December 31, 2023, and must be deposited through OCBC Bank.
Since the funds need to be divided into 90% and 10%, the final effective interest rate is only about 4.09%p.a.
