New TNG cards go on public sale but can’t be paid for, netizens blast TNG for starvation sales!

26/08/2022

The Touch ‘n Go eWallet opened for sale at 10 a.m. on Aug. 25, but too many people snapped up the new TNG cards, causing the Touch ‘n Go eWallet to lag at one point.

People spent a lot of time trying to buy the new TNG cards, and some people said they were in the process of buying from 10am to 12pm, but they were stuck in the payment stage and were unable to buy.

Some people also said they tried to pay more than 20 times before they finally managed to pay. The public has criticized TNG for encouraging users to use the TNG card, but failing to fix the system and wasting everyone’s time.

Some netizens have taught us the trick of not rushing to make payment after placing an order, but waiting until the traffic spike in the system has passed, so that we can purchase the new TNG card smoothly.

The new TNG card supports the function of recharging with a cell phone, so users can simply place the new TNG card on the back of their cell phone to recharge it smoothly. Due to the global outbreak of chip shortage, the new TNG cards face the same problem and therefore cannot be produced in large quantities.

TNG is known to go on sale every two weeks, and each time falls on a Thursday at 10 a.m. TNG will be open at the beginning and end of each month for people to purchase new TNG cards through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

The public sale took place on August 25, and with a two-weekly opening, the next public sale will be on September 8 at 10 a.m.
