According to Perodua, the third generation Perodua Myvi is now available for pre-order with a price range of RM45,700 to RM58,800.
Instead of a manual (MT) gearbox, the Perodua Myvi will be available with an automatic (AT) gearbox across the range. It is unclear whether it will come with a conventional four-speed automatic transmission (4AT) or a CVT transmission, but the general prediction is that it will be a CVT transmission.
The slightly modified Perodua Myvi will also be available in five variants, namely the 1.5AV, 1.5H, 1.5X and two 1.3G grades. All 1.5L models are equipped with the latest PSDA, while the 1.3G models have one with PSDA and one without.
The so-called PSDA is Perodua Intelligent Driving Assistance, formerly known as ASA Driving Assistance, and is expected to include driver assistance features such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Control (LKC), Continuous Cruise Control (ACC), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Automatic High and Low Beams (AHB), to name but a few.
In terms of fuel consumption, the 1.3L will increase from 21.1 kilometres per litre of petrol to 22.2 kilometres per litre of petrol.
The Perodua Myvi 1.5AV will be available in an exclusive colour, Cranberry Red, while other models will be available in Ivory White, Lava Red, Sparkling Silver, Granite Grey and Electric Blue.
