New car orders before June 30 can no longer change order information, order information must be submitted to the Ministry of Finance.

30/06/2022

According to a report by Paultan.org Automotive Media, all order forms and information placed before June 30 need to be submitted to the Ministry of Finance, so buyers can no longer change their car model or model after ordering a car.

In order to avoid misrepresentation of new vehicle orders for sales tax purposes, the Treasury Department is asking automakers for information on orders placed but not yet delivered. Both the reservation and registration of the vehicle must be made by the same buyer based on name and ID number, which means that the owner of the vehicle can no longer be changed.

Buyers need to make sure that the information on their orders is accurate, and as of July they will no longer be able to change their information, especially not the car model to be purchased, the buyer’s name, body color, etc. If you are denied an auto loan, you also cannot transfer the order in question to another family member or relative.

If you have previously placed an order but are still waiting for the car, I believe you have also received a notice from the car salesman asking you to make a 10% down payment in advance.

The government previously announced that people who place orders before June 30 will continue to enjoy the sales tax exemption, and the registration process for new cars must be completed by March 31, 2023.
