Although Apple’s new iPhone SE 3 has little in the way of major design changes, that doesn’t take away from its upgraded performance. Compared to the previous generation, the iPhone SE 3 mainly has a change to the A15 processor and a slight increase in battery capacity.
One user was curious about the range of each iPhone for testing. However, compared to the iPhone SE 3 and iPhone 13 mini, which have the same A15 Bionic processor, the iPhone 13 mini lasts longer than the iPhone SE 3, which has a larger battery as a selling point!
In the test, YouTuber Brandon Butch used the iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and iPhone XR for comparison. According to the editorial office, the iPhone 13 mini has a higher screen resolution than the iPhone SE 3, but the iPhone SE 3 lasts only 5 hours and 16 minutes, while the iPhone 13 mini lasts 5 hours and 55 minutes, 39 minutes more than the iPhone SE 3.
In the film, Brandon Butch mentions that the Camera App on the iPhone SE 3 affects the battery life. However, the battery capacity of the two devices above is inherently different, so that’s what mainly causes the difference in battery life between the two devices to be about 40 minutes.
According to B.R. Butch’s test results, the iPhone with the longest battery life is the iPhone 12, which lasts 7 hours and 31 minutes; the second-ranked iPhone 13, however, has a 20-minute difference from the first. The iPhone XR and iPhone 11, which ranked third and fourth, lasted 6 hours and 40 minutes and 6 hours and 13 minutes, respectively.
Apple launched the iPhone SE 3 in March and said at the time that the phone had a 2018mAh built-in lithium-ion battery, a hexa-core A15 Bionic chip, iOS 15, and up to 15 hours of video playback time.
