Netizens have asked the government to allow housewives and single mothers who do not have regular jobs and have not been paying EPF continuously to withdraw all their EPF savings. Netizens also asked the government to let members who are deeply affected by layoffs and can no longer work due to health and age factors to withdraw all their EPF savings.
In the joint submission, netizens pointed out that the government has not provided comprehensive assistance and solutions so far, and therefore requested the government to allow EPF accounts to withdraw their own EPF savings to tide over the difficulties. As of July 5, 2022, this joint signature has attracted over 100,000 signatures.
