Mysterious Murder Case Unfolds in France as Woman Discovers Decomposed Body Behind Wall

14/07/2023

In France, a woman who was intending to travel for six months chose to rent out her unoccupied house to an unknown couple. When she returned six months later, she noticed an unusually low wall in the kitchen exuding a horrible odor. The couple had vanished, much to her amazement. When she looked beyond the wall, she discovered a highly decayed male body.

According to French media sources, a woman living in Livry-Gargan, an eastern Paris suburb, let out her house to a couple while she traveled to Algeria. When she arrived home on July 9th, she discovered the pair missing and a 1.5-meter long, 40-centimeter broad, and 1-meter high low wall in the kitchen. The air was thick with the harsh odor of bleach.

Flies were buzzing around the borders of the wall, and there was a strong stink in the air. She called the cops as soon as she realized anything was wrong.

When the cops broke through a breach in the low wall, they discovered a blanket teeming with maggots and other flesh-eating creatures. When the blanket was withdrawn, a poorly decomposed male body that looked like a fetus was discovered.

The identification of the deceased is difficult to determine due to the advanced level of decomposition, and the body has been sent for autopsy to establish the identity.

The woman replied that she only knew the couple’s names and had never met them before. The husband appeared to be a businessman who need temporary housing in order to complete some job in the area.

She reasoned that the pair had probably built the low wall while she was away, without her knowledge.

According to the police, the investigation is still underway as of Monday (10th), and no suspects, including the two renters, have been detained.
