MySejahtera launches new feature to check infectious disease data near your location!
MySejahtera is no longer a must-have mobile app for Malaysians as the government allows people to enter public places without scanning MySejahtera QR codes. However, in order to enhance the added value of MySejahtera, MySejahtera has introduced a new feature that allows people to check the data of infectious diseases in their vicinity.
MySejahtera will allow people to search for hotspots of Bone Pain Fever, Rabies, Measles and Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease.
To search for infectious disease data near your location, you can open the home page of MySejahtera and click on the Infectious Disease Tracker function. Turn on your phone’s location function or manually enter your location to search for areas. The system will show you the infectious disease data for your area.
People can search for infectious disease data within a radius of 200 to 5,000 meters, and can also search for 7 to 90 days of cases under treatment. The Ministry of Health hopes that the public can use this feature to understand the situation of infectious diseases near their location.
