The Malaysian dollar has hit an all-time low against the Singapore dollar!
According to the data released by the National Bank, the MYR-SGD dropped to RM3.1833 in the morning of May 19. The Malaysian dollar fell to RM3.1727 against the Singapore dollar on April 26 this year, and now it has hit a new low level again. So far this year, the Malaysian dollar has depreciated by 2.95% against the Singaporean dollar.
The Malaysian dollar has also fallen below the RM4.40 mark against the US dollar, which is a new low since March 2020. The Malaysian dollar fell to an all-time low of RM4.4470 in March 2020.
Here are the exchange rates from a money changer in Selangor: RM4.40 to USD1, RM3.177 to SGD1, RM12.89 to THB100 and RM0.65 to CNY1.
