MYAirline is set to offer lower-cost airfares than AirAsia.
MYAirline, which a group of airline veterans heads, is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year and is threatening to offer cheaper airfares than AirAsia.
MYAirline, a new Malaysian airline, has been granted an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) and plans to start operations with three second-hand Airbus A320s, with an eye on expanding to 50 aircraft in the next five years.
MYAirline currently employs more than 300 people, including 45 pilots.
