Perantisiswa Keluarga Malaysia receives around 300,000 applications for tablets.
The PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia project anticipates distributing the tablets by the end of November, according to the Communications and Multimedia Ministry (K-KOMM).
More than 300,000 applications had already been submitted for stages one and two as of yesterday, and phase one application distribution is currently being organised. So that we can begin sending the devices to the phase two candidates in October, we’re hoping it can be finished within the next two weeks.
Although the reaction has been extremely positive, the secretariat is having difficulties and is taking a long time to process the applications.
The device application won’t be refused, but a second round of review will be conducted and the standards based on the database will need to be met as many applicants aren’t from the B40 group.
In particular, when colleges and universities will open in October, student associations and administrators at universities can assist with verification based on documents or in-person interviews. The ministry discovered that some applications are not from the B40, and a second round of evaluation is necessary to make sure that beneficiaries satisfy the required standards.
Because there may be candidates whose parents are divorced, whose original record is not in the B40, or who lost their employment during Covid-19, and who will also be given appropriate consideration, the data now available is not always correct.
