When will the government fully open the border? The Ministry of Health will discuss the reopening of the border in two to three weeks and submit its recommendations and SOPs to the cabinet.

National Recovery Council recently recommended that government fully open the border on March 1 to allow foreigners who have been vaccinated and tested to be exempted from quarantine measures when entering the country. This measure has surprised and disturbed many people in the country.

Prime Minister said that the issue of fully opening the border on March 1 is still under discussion. Government accepts different views from the people and will strike a balance between the economy of the country and the health of the people.

The Ministry of Health said it will discuss the reopening of the border in two to three weeks and will submit the relevant recommendations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to the Cabinet for further decision.

Do you, as a Malaysian, agree to reopen the border so that people can be tested for covid and then not be subjected to mandatory quarantine?
