Ministry of Health released 8 symptoms of catching seasonal flu.

According to a release from the Ministry of Health (KKM), adults who contract the flu will only experience mild disturbances, but those in high-risk groups may experience life-threatening symptoms when they contract the flu.

High risk groups for influenza include children, the elderly, pregnant women, people with underlying medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma. Symptoms of seasonal influenza include fever, cold, sore throat, cough, headache, body aches, difficulty breathing, diarrhea and stomach pain.

If flu symptoms occur in high-risk groups, seek medical attention and take care of your own hygiene and avoid crowded places. Wearing a mask can also help protect against influenza infection.

High-risk groups are encouraged to get a flu vaccination, which is available at private clinics throughout the country.
