According to a message from Education Minister, Ministry of Education has not yet made a final decision on whether to re-run the Junior Secondary 3 Assessment Test (PT3). Due to the consideration of the mastery level of students and the ongoing 2021 school curriculum.
Previously, it was reported in the online media that the Malaysian Examination Board had submitted an application to re-run PT3 test between October and November this year. However the related posting has been taken down.
Due to the epidemic, the Ministry of Education has announced the suspension of the Primary Six Examination (UPSR) and the Junior Secondary Three Assessment (PT3) in 2020. The suspension of the UPSR and PT3 has been in place for 2 years, that is, 2020 and 2021.
With the vaccination rate in the country already quite high, the possibility of the Ministry of Education re-running the PT3 exam is relatively high.
