MH370 hasn’t been seen in 9 years, and no one has found it yet. The Voice of 370 is a group of families on the plane. They hope Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar will support and accept Ocean Infinity’s proposal to restart the search—the idea of reopening the search program.
It is thought that “Ocean Infinity” took part in the search for MH370 in 2018 and agreed with the government. However, because the search work found nothing, the operation was stopped in May of that year.
But last year, the company suggested that the MH370 search program be started again on a “no effect, no pay” basis.
On the other hand, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said yesterday that he would never stop looking for MH370 or looking into what happened to it.
He said that the government didn’t forget about the crash of Malaysia Airlines MH370 on March 8, 2014, and that our country will search for the plane if there is any new and reliable information about where it stayed.
“Even though the families of the passengers and crew have moved on with their lives, the threat to aviation safety is still a global problem,” said Voice 370 in a statement released today.
“If we don’t know what went wrong with MH370, we won’t be able to stop the same terrible thing from happening again.”
So, the group thinks it is important to keep looking for MH370 until everything is figured out.
The group also said it agreed with what Anthony Loke said.
In an interview with the Daily News, Catherine, the mother of the MH370 crew chief, said that she has come to terms with the fact that the plane is missing, but she still wants to know what happened to it.
“It’s been nine years, and even though I’ve come to terms with the fact that the plane is gone, the trauma is still there.”
“But I’m still unsure what happened and want to find out what happened. So, I’m glad that the government is still looking for this plane.”
When asked what she does now that she has lost her son, she said that she lives with her sister in Sibu and that her other children live in Kuala Lumpur and other states.
“We’re all fine, but we still have hope that one day we’ll find out what happened to the plane. Their family did not have a memorial service for the missing plane.”
She also said that her son’s kids are grown up and have jobs.
Nulaira, married to the deputy head of the MH370 crew, said that she and her family always pray for her husband and think about him.
“March 8 will always be remembered in our hearts.”
