A continuous rain warning at alert level has been issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) for Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang until Saturday.
MetMalaysia said in a statement today that Kuantan is affected in Pahang, while the afflicted regions in Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Baru, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, and Kuala Krai are all affected.
The department has ended the alert-level continuous rain for Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak, as well, according to the same statement.
It stated, “It involves several areas in Kedah, including Sik, Baling, Kulim, Padang Terap, Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, and Kubang Pasu.” In Perak, the department also ended the alert-level continuous rain warning for Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar and Manjung.
