METMalaysia issues continuous thunderstorm alert
The Department of Meteorology issues a warning for orange continuous rain!
The Malaysian Meteorological Department has reported that rain would fall continuously in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and portions of Johor until November 11, 2022. For these locations, the Meteorology Department has issued an orange persistent rain warning.
The Meteorology Department will issue an orange-level rainfall warning for the local region if it is anticipated that the area will receive more than 60mm of rain in the next six hours.
Light breezes will collect over the coastal regions of Sarawak and the east coast of the peninsula, where humidity levels will rise and may bring prolonged rain, according to the study of weather models.
This week, Sarawak and the west coast of the peninsula are expected to experience thunderstorms, strong wind, and rainstorms.
