The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast for the period from 15 to 21 November.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MMD) on the afternoon of November 14, thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rainfall are expected in several parts of the country from November 15 to 21, 2022.
The affected areas include the inland and western parts of the West Malaysia Peninsula, the northern part of Sarawak and the western part of Sabah. These areas will experience thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rainfall in the late afternoon and evening.
It is worth mentioning in particular that on November 19, the polling day of the 15th National Election, there will be rain in many parts of the country around the clock. If your area is subject to frequent lightning floods or waterlogged roads that affect travel, you’ll want to head out early to vote on polling day.
