The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Persistent Rainfall Warning!
According to the information issued by the Meteorological Department of Malaysia, there will be persistent rainfall in Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and some parts of Johor until November 11, 2022. The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Persistent Rainfall Warning for these areas.
When an area is expected to receive more than 60mm of rainfall in 6 hours, the Meteorological Department will issue an Orange Rainstorm Warning for the area.
According to the weather model, breeze will gather over the east coast of the peninsula and the coastal areas of Sarawak, where humidity will rise and may bring persistent rainfall.
In addition, the Meteorological Department is also predicting thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rainfall over the west coast of the peninsula and Sarawak during the late afternoon and evening hours of the week.
