According to the weather bureau, a low pressure in the western Philippines is expected to move towards the eastern part of Vietnam between July 9 and 13 and bring storms to the surrounding areas.
Storms are expected in northern Sarawak, western Sabah and Labuan from 9 to 10 July, while the northern states of the peninsula will experience storms from 11 to 13 July.
The South China Sea is also expected to see strong winds and high waves during this period, and people are urged not to go to the beach.
