The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for continued rainfall.
According to the information issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department at 12:30 noon on November 13, 2023, there will be continuous rainfall in the east coast of the peninsula and northern Sabah.
Kelantan and Terengganu will experience continuous rainfall from November 16 to 18, 2023, while Pahang and Sabah will experience continuous rainfall from November 17 to 19, 2023.
When an area is expected to have continuous rainfall for more than 6 hours, the Meteorological Bureau will issue a yellow alert for the local area. When the rainfall in an area exceeds 60mm within 6 hours, the Meteorological Bureau will issue an orange alert for the local area. When the rainfall in an area exceeds 150mm within 24 hours, the Meteorological Bureau will issue a red alert for the local area.
