According to the information released by Meteorological Department of Malaysia at 2pm on 23 July 2022, our country will receive weak winds from all directions, which will cause thunderstorm clouds to form in the afternoon and evening, leading to thunderstorm rain.
The situation is expected to continue until 25 July 2022, affecting the west and south coast of West Malaysia, Sarawak and western Sabah.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully and slow down when thunderstorms occur. Pedestrians are urged to prepare rain gear in advance so that thunderstorms do not affect their journeys.
The public is urged to keep an eye on the weather and be prepared in case of thunderstorms.
