Many EPF members are wondering why they have not yet received their special withdrawal funds. Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul responded to the members’ questions in a video posted on Facebook.
The KWSP will try to complete all withdrawal applications and distribute the money before Eid al-Fitr, according to a video uploaded on Facebook by Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul.
Zafrul noted that the EPF has received 5.3 million withdrawal applications totaling more than RM40.1 billion, implying that the EPF will require time to process applications and make remittances.
Members should be patient, according to Zafrul, because the EPF had previously stated that it will review withdrawal applications. EPF would do everything possible to guarantee that members receive their withdrawals before Hari Raya, which falls on the 3rd and 4th of May.

The member’s withdrawal status will change to PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DILULUSKAN with a turquoise backdrop in the near future, indicating that the application has been approved.
The system will also display the date when the member can receive money once the application status shows PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DILULUSKAN.
