Members can now pay their EPF directly via KWSP i-Akaun!

Members can now pay their EPF directly through i-Akaun due to modern features added on KWSP i-Akaun!

The KWSP has added a new feature to the i-Akaun APP, and members can now directly contribute to the EPF through i-Akaun, in an effort to persuade the public to contribute more to the provident fund.

Members could previously only pay provident money using the bank’s online banking system. In order to make it easier for members to pay provident funds on their own, KWSP has now formally integrated the self-payment of provident funds capability to the i-AKaun APP.

By upgrading to the most recent version of the i-AKaun APP and logging into your account, you can pay the EPF yourself.

After that, you can select the deposit amount by clicking the Add Contribution option on the home page.

The procedure is finished after the transfer process is complete, and members can choose which bank to transfer funds from to the KWSP account. Within 3 working days, KWSP will update the member’s deposit. It is advised that you keep the receipt following the transfer so that you can more quickly understand its status.

EPF self-payment via the i-Akaun APP:

Step 2: Login your i-AKaun account via KWSP.

Step 5: Choose which bank to transfer from.

Step 6: The system will connect to the transfer page for the bank.

Step 7: When the transfer process is finished, the system will return to KWSP.

Step 8: Within 3 working days, the funds will be credited to the KWSP account.

Step 9: The transfer receipt can be saved.
