According to a statement issued by McDonald’s, McDonald’s continues to face a shortage of French fries as the outbreak continues to affect shipments worldwide.
As a result, McDonald’s will offer consumers more choices. Consumers will be able to choose a sundae or apple pie instead of fries when purchasing a McDonald’s medium-sized meal. This initiative will continue until the availability of fries stabilises.
However, consumers will still have the option to purchase fries with their Medium meal, subject to availability.
