With the recent news of bank deposits being stolen, Maybank reminds users not to download apps from unknown sources to avoid personal data theft.
When downloading an application, if the following characteristics appear, it means that the app or harbors a malicious program and you must stop downloading immediately.
– Getting a link to download the app from a chat room or email
– Request for bank details
– The phone warns that the downloaded application is malicious
– You are an iPhone user, but you are asked to set up your Android phone
– Asking for authorization to read SMS
