Maybank fixed deposit promotion, up to 3.9%pa.
Fixed deposit discounts will be available from now until December 31, 2022, according to information on Maybank’s official website. You have the option of depositing for two, four, or six months. The minimum payment is RM10,000.
When you deposit for two months, you will receive 3.55% p.a., when you deposit for four months, you will receive 3.85% p.a., and when you deposit for six months, you will receive 3.90% p.a. Fixed deposits can be made via the MAE APP, Maybank2u Web, or Maybank APP.
Notice! This is an Islamic Fixed Deposit, but users with conventional bank accounts can deposit it as well. You can deposit it as long as you have a Maybank2u account.
Users can only deposit funds into this fixed deposit offer through Maybank deposits and are not required to use FPX to transfer funds from other banks. Not only that, but when depositing time deposits, you must select Credit to Account to receive preferential interest rates.

Step 1: Log in to your Maybank2u account.
Step 2: Click Apply in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select Fixed Deposit under the Accounts column, and click Apply Now.
Step 4: Select Islamic Fixed Deposit.
Step 5: Choose which bank account the money comes from.
Step 6: Select the term of the fixed deposit and enter the amount to be deposited, and then select the method of receiving interest Credit to the Account.
Step 7: Select Make Placement.
Step 8: Done.
M2U MY APP
Step 1: Log in to Maybank2u APP.
Step 2: Select Fixed Deposits under Accounts.
Step 3: Select Make Placement Now and select Islamic Fixed Deposit.
Step 4: Select the term of the fixed deposit and enter the amount to be deposited, and then select the method of receiving interest Credit to the Account.
Step 5: Click Proceed and Confirm & Request TAC.
Step 6: Done.
MAE APP
Step 1: Open the MAE APP and click on Maybank2u.
Step 2: Select Fixed Deposits and Apply Now.
Step 3: Select Islamic Fixed Deposit.
Step 4: Select the term of the fixed deposit and enter the amount to be deposited, and then select the method of receiving interest Credit to the Account.
Step 5: Select Make Placement.
Step 6: Done.
