17/11/2022

Attention all Maybank users! From now on, you can use Secure2u to verify your FPX transfer transactions.

According to a news release from Maybank, users can now use Secure2u to authenticate FPX transfers, which were previously only possible via SMS TAC. This measure will take effect from December 6, 2022.

As for JomPAY, from December 6, 2022 it will be possible to verify transactions only via Secure2u and no longer via SMS TAC.

Maybank urges users to switch to MAE APP to verify JomPAY and FPX transactions via Secure2u. This is part of Maybank’s efforts to strengthen online banking security, which is in line with the National Banking Initiative’s measures to fight financial fraud.
