Scan the ATM QR code with MAE to complete cardless cash withdrawal.
A new cardless cash withdrawal service has been established by Maybank. Users just need to scan the ATM’s QR code with the MAE APP to complete the cash withdrawal!
Maybank has announced the debut of an ATM Cash-out service that allows customers to withdraw cash from ATMs just by carrying their phones with them. Malaysia now has 998 ATMs that offer ATM Cash-out services.
The ATM Cash-out function eliminates the need for customers to carry an ATM card when withdrawing money from an ATM, instead relying on their mobile phone.
Users must first activate the ATM Cash-out feature in the MAE APP before using it.
Then go to the ATM, open the MAE APP, scan the QR code on the ATM screen, and complete fingerprint recognition on your phone. Then choose which account you want to withdraw from and enter the amount you want to withdraw. The ATM will begin processing your withdrawal, and all you have to do now is wait for it to complete before collecting your cash.
When using the ATM Cash-out feature, there will be no surcharge, exactly like with standard ATM transactions.
