According to Maybank, the daily transfer limit for Maybank sole proprietors and individual users will be increased with effect from 18 June 2022. This adjustment will apply to M2u Web, M2u MY APP and MAE APP.
The current daily limit for Interbank GIRO (IBG) and DuitNow Transfer (IBFT) for individual users is RM30,000 and the daily maximum limit for DuitNow Transfer is RM50,000.The daily maximum limit for IBG, DuitNow Transfer and DuitNow Transfer will be combined, i.e. a maximum of RM50,000 per day only.
For business users (sole proprietors), the daily maximum limit for third party transfers (3rd Party), which was previously RM30,000, will be increased to RM100,000 from 18 June onwards.
Users can still adjust the daily transfer limit via the Maybank2u website by logging into the Maybank2u website, going to Settings and selecting Payments & Transfers. All transfer limit adjustments require TAC verification and users are advised not to share their TAC, login password and other banking information with others.
