Maybank has launched a special offer for time deposits with a preferential interest rate of up to 2.60% p.a.
According to a news release from Maybank, there is a time deposit offer available for 2, 9 and 12 months, which will be divided into Fresh Fund and Non-Fresh Fund.
When you choose to deposit a 2-month time deposit, Fresh Fund is entitled to 2.35% p.a. while Non-Fresh Fund is entitled to 2.30% p.a.
When you choose to place a 9-month time deposit, the Fresh Fund is entitled to 2.55%p.a. and the Non-Fresh Fund is entitled to 2.50%p.a.
When you choose to place a 12-month time deposit, the Fresh Fund is entitled to 2.60% p.a. and the Non-Fresh Fund is entitled to 2.55% p.a.
The minimum deposit for this time deposit is RM10,000 while the minimum deposit for business users is RM25,000. The offer runs from 12 May to 3 June 2022 and must be deposited through the bank counter.
