Maybank announces the extension of banking hours, allowing users to replace Debit Cards!
According to the news issued by Maybank, in order for users to have more time to replace their expired Debit Cards, all branches will extend their business hours to 6 pm.
Originally, Maybank branches were open from 9.30am to 4pm, but now Maybank branches will allow users to replace their Debit Cards from 4pm to 6pm. During this time, only the service of replacing the Debit Card will be provided.
Maybank encourages users to replace the expired Debit Card through Maybank2u, that is, log in to the Maybank2u account, enter Settings, and then select Cards. Then select Replace Card in Debit Card – Replace, Activate & Block in the Manage Debit Cards section. Follow the instructions to complete the replacement of the Debit Card.
Replacing your Debit Card through Maybank2u will incur a fee of RM12, and then RM12 will be credited back to your account within 7 working days. The new Debit Card will be mailed to your designated location within 9 working days. After receiving the new Debit Card, you can activate it through ATM or activate the new card through Maybank2u.
Notice! If your Debit Card is lost, stolen or you forget your PIN, you cannot replace your Debit Card through Maybank2u.
To know when your Debit Card expires, you can check the VALID THRU on the front of your Debit Card. If the number is 01/22, it expires in January 2022, and if the number is 07/22, it expires in July 2022.
