If your Maxis Postpaid Plan currently does not support 5G network, you can manually activate 5G Access Pass.
According to the information on the Maxis official website, users can manually activate the 5G Access Pass through the Maxis APP or Hotlink APP, and there will be no need to pay any fees at the time of activation. The method to activate the 5G Access Pass is very simple, that is, after opening the Maxis APP or Hotlink APP, find the 5G icon, and then click to start.
Plans currently supporting 5G Access Pass include Hotlink Postpaid 30, 40 and 60, Maxis Postpaid 68, 98, 108, 128, 158 and 188, Maxis Postpaid Share 48, Maxis Family Plan 299, 399 and 499. Users only need to manually activate the 5G Access Pass once, and the 5G Access Pass will be automatically updated every month.
If you want to use the 5G network, first of all, the mobile phone you are using must support the 5G network, and you must be within the 5G network coverage. At present, most major cities in China already have 5G network coverage, but there are still some 5G networks in semi-urban and rural areas that are still under construction.
