Top 10 listed companies with the highest market capitalization in Malaysia (as of end-March)

Maybank remains Malaysia’s most valuable publicly traded firm.

Maybank was the most valuable listed corporation in Malaysia at the end of March, with a market capitalization of RM106.194 billion. Maybank’s market capitalization was RM104.056 billion at the end of February.

Public Bank is the second-largest publicly traded firm in terms of market capitalisation. The market capitalization of Public Bank was RM90.648 billion at the end of March. Petronas Chemicals (PCHEM), with a market capitalisation of RM75.8 billion, is the third-largest listed corporation by market capitalization.

With market capitalizations of RM54.777 billion and RM54.480 billion, respectively, IHH Pharma and CIMB Group (CIMB) were the fourth and fifth largest listed corporations by market capitalisation.

With market capitalizations of RM51.535 billion and RM50.073 billion, National Energy (TENAGA) and Qi Li Industrial (PMETAL) were ranked sixth and seventh, respectively.

Hong Leong Bank, Axiata, and SIMEPLT are the eighth and tenth largest listed firms by market capitalization, with RM43.788 billion, RM34.780 billion, and RM34.371 billion, respectively.

Four of Malaysia’s ten most valued listed corporations are banks.
