People with mild illness in Malaysia are all isolated at home, but some people just don’t abide by the law and run out after being diagnosed!
The Ministry of Health found that in the past week, there were as many as 523 home-isolated COVID-19 patients in Kedah, which was found in the check-in record of MySejahtera mobile phone application!
Health Minister KJ exposed the matter and urged the confirmed patients who were instructed to be isolated at home to comply with the regulations.
KJ: “I have informed the Minister (Kedah) that just this week, there are 523 punch-in records of My Sejahtera mobile phone application involving confirmed patients or home isolators.”
He said that among the 523 check-in records, 18% appeared in the supermarket PasarRaya.
Therefore, he urged the operators to strictly check the records of each customer, so as not to allow the caught fish to enter the store.
KJ also said that the Ministry of Health will submit the list of violators to the county health bureaus for handling.
