You can now change your Malaysia license to Singaporean license online!
Online conversion of Malaysian driving licenses to Singapore driving licenses is available!
A test is now being done to enable Malaysians to convert their Malaysian driving licenses to Singapore driving licenses using an internet approach, according to information provided by the Singapore Traffic Police.
Applicants must still go to the Singapore Transport Headquarters to provide paper papers and pay the appropriate conversion charge after submitting their applications online, it should be noted.
The Singapore Traffic Police launched an online platform with the intention of allowing the general people to apply online first, and once they’ve met the requirements for changing their driver’s licenses, they can go to the traffic police headquarters to complete the remaining steps. This will speed up the process and significantly lessen the crowd at the traffic police headquarters.
To apply, click https://go.gov.sg/fpk5f0. The Singapore Traffic Police will contact applicants to let them know when to be at the counter to provide paper papers. To submit paper documents and the fee, applicants just need to visit the counter at the appointed time.
Following the procedure, applicants can expect to obtain their paper license in 10 working days, while SingPass subscribers can expect to receive their digital license in 1 working day. A driver’s license conversion costs S$50, or roughly RM160.
Candidates must pass the Basic Theory Test (BTT), which is given by the Singapore Driving Centre, before submitting an application.
