Malaysian Couple’s RM100K Monthly Satay Sales in Australia!

11/11/2023

Malaysians are increasingly opting to work overseas rather than remain in their home country. What causes them?

Australian food blogger “Papa Nash” recently shared a video of street-side satay on TikTok. The owner is from Sabah, Malaysia, along with his spouse!

The blogger gave their satay a high rating of 10/10 and said it is really delicious!

The boss is confident in his ability to sell a substantial quantity of skewers between 2 and 5 p.m. each day. This bold claim suggests a thriving and potentially lucrative operation. Selling 400 skewers during this three-hour window requires efficient preparation, effective marketing, and a product that resonates with the customers. It speaks to the boss’s knowledge of their target market and the demand for this delectable treat. The precise timing from 2 to 5 p.m. may coincide with peak hunger hours or strategic locations, maximizing the chances of success.

Maintaining this level of sales on a daily basis is indicative of a well-run business, and consistency is essential in such endeavors. The company probably uses knowledgeable chefs, effective service, and a delicious product to accomplish this and keep customers coming back for more. This statement highlights the boss’s competence and confidence in the cutthroat field of food sales. But reaching such daily sales would take commitment and effort; it’s no small feat.

Satay costs AUD 2 (roughly MYR 6-7) for a single skewer, and AUD 12 (roughly MYR 36) for five skewers if you opt for the set menu! They also sell Mee Goreng, Ayam Panggang, and other items.

After the video was released, netizens were estimating the boss’s income.
