With the Malaysia-Singapore land border crossing expected to reopen on 29 November, the Thai Consulate General in Penang has also revealed that Thailand may open on 15 December to allow Malaysian nationals to enter the country.
Thailand is ready to go, now just waiting for the Malaysian government’s decision. Thailand will be fully open on December 15, including the Malaysian-Thai border. Once the Thai-Malaysian border is reopened, it will stimulate tourism in both places.
It is expected that once the Malay-Thai border is reopened, RT-PCR testing will still be required for people entering and leaving the two countries and vaccinations must be completed.
