Malaysia is in the Monson Break, and many states will see frequent rainfall.
According to a notice issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon season lasts from mid-May to mid-September each year, and this year’s southwest monsoon began on May 19. However, the current monsoon is in a Monson Break.
The so-called monsoon break is a short period of retreat or destruction during the prevailing monsoon, also known as the monsoon break. The southwest monsoon can be interrupted once or twice, up to four times a year.
There will be a change in wind direction during the monsoon break, which will lead to the formation of active clouds and wet weather. Heavy rain, strong winds and lightning storms are possible in the early morning hours. The west coast of West Malaysia and western Sabah will see wet weather.
Motorists are urged to avoid roads that are prone to lightning flooding, and the public is urged to follow the authorities’ instructions and follow up on evacuation instructions if they receive them.
