Around 960,000 children are fully vaccinated.

As of Friday, 961,597 children aged five to eleven in the country had received full vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

According to the CovidNow website, 1,569,286 youngsters, or 44.2 percent of the total, have gotten at least one vaccine shot.

A total of 2,899,554 or 93.2 percent of teenagers aged 12 to 17 have finished the immunisation, while 2,997,051 or 96.3 percent have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine.

In the adult population, 16,049,816 people (68.2%) have had the booster shot, 22,969,639 people (97.6%) have finished two doses, and 23,245,044 people (98.8%) have had at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.

Yesterday, 9,672 first doses, 15,534 second doses, and 3,260 booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine were provided, bringing the total number of vaccine doses dispensed under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,478,577.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health’s GitHub page, six people died as a result of Covid-19 yesterday, with two cases reported in Kuala Lumpur and one case each in Selangor, Perlis, Kedah, and Johor.
