Make appointment to pick up your medication through MyUBAT or ask for it to be mailed to your home.

28/02/2022

MyUBAT is an online service launched by the Ministry of Health to make it easier for people to pick up their medication from hospitals or clinics on a regular basis.

MyUBAT offers two services. The first service allows people to make an appointment for the date and time they want to pick up their medication, and the unit will prepare the required medication in advance so you don’t have to waste time waiting in line when you go to the hospital or clinic to pick it up.

The second service of MyUBAT is the delivery of medication to your home. Through MyUBAT, you can request that your medication be delivered to your designated address, but you will need to pay for the postage. When you choose to have your medication mailed to you, you will be given a tracking code that will allow you to control the movement of your medication.

However, it is important to note that only capsule and tablet medications can be mailed to your doorstep, while those that need to be stored in the refrigerator cannot. Liquid medications and neurological medications also cannot be delivered to your doorstep.

MyUBAT will also launch two more features by the end of 2021, Drive Thru and Locker4U. Drive Thru, as the name implies, means that medications can be picked up directly by car, while Locker4U means that medications will be stored in specific cabinets and people will need to enter a code to pick up their medications.

MyUBAT APP can be downloaded through Google Play, AppStore or Huawei AppGallery. There are currently 180 clinics and hospitals supporting the MyUBAT service, with 20 in Selangor, 23 in Kuala Lumpur, 37 in Johor, 12 in Penang and 50 in Negeri Sembilan.
