Nepal’s Yeti Airlines inland plane YT691 crashed in the Seti river gorge on January 15 from Kathmandu to Pokhara in the west, killing all 72 people on board. After the incident, a video was also circulated on the Internet showing one of the passengers being broadcast live before the incident, during which the screen suddenly shook violently, the passengers screamed, and then fell into a sea of fire.

According to Indian media reports, the live video of the death, which is about 1 minute and 40 seconds long, was shot by Sonu Jaiswal, 35, believed to be an Indian citizen, whose family has confirmed his death.

From the video, Sonu Jaiswal probably wanted to capture the moment the plane landed, so he took a selfie first, and then moved the camera to the window to capture the view of the ground, the environment inside the cabin, and the condition of other passengers. However, as you can see from the picture, the plane was already tilting to the left, but he was still calm.

As a result, the next moment, the film began to shake violently, and there was a suspected chaotic sound of collision and other passengers screaming. A few seconds later, the camera plunged into a sea of fire, there was an ear-splitting sound of airflow, and finally, the plane was believed to have fallen into the grass on the ground, and the film ended in a flashing fire.

The accident is believed to be the worst air crash in Nepal in the last 30 years. According to a statement released by Nepal’s Civil Aviation Authority, the crashed flight was carrying 15 foreigners, including five Indians, four Russians, two Koreans and the remaining four from Australia, Ireland, Argentina and France.
