Penang, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan and Sabah will enter the third phase of National Recovery Plan from October 18, and there will be no states in the first and second phases of National Recovery Plan in Malaysia.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor) and Melaka will move from Phase 3 to Phase 4 recovery. Kelantan, Perak, Penang, Sabah and Kedah will move from the second stage to the third stage of recovery.
This means that all states in the country are in the third and fourth stage of recovery from October 18. There are nine states in the third stage of recovery, Perlis, Terengganu, Sarawak, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Johor and Sabah.
As for those in the fourth stage of recovery, there are 7 state , namely Putrajaya, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and Labuan.
Our single-day new cases have been below 10,000 for 2 consecutive weeks and the transmittable value has dropped to 0.86. The vaccination rate for the adult population is 91.4%.
