The legal letter from Lee Zii Jia’s former coach Indra Wijaya was confirmed to have been received by Lee Zii Jia’s team today.
Lee Zii Yii, the team manager and sister of Lee Zii Jia, told the media that she had consulted with the lawyers.
“Whether it’s a formal indictment, I can confirm that our lawyers have received some correspondence. We’ll consult our legal counsel to avoid postponing matters or making them worse.”
It had been reported that Indra Wijaya was considering filing a lawsuit against Lee Zii Jia for breach of contract.
Indra Wijaya claims that he has a contract with Lee Zii Jia that will run through 2024. He departed the Malaysian national team for Lee Zii Jia’s squad in February last year, but his contract with the latter was eventually canceled in November.
