The country’s telecommunications companies will launch the Internet Unity Prepaid Package in February, offering 30GB of Internet data for only RM30 for 6 months.
The Pakej Perpaduan Prabayar (Internet Solidarity Prepaid Package) is an Internet package launched by the Solidarity Government to allow low-income groups to have access to the Internet at a lower price.
With the Internet Solidarity Prepaid Package, users can get 6 months of Internet data for RM30, which is an average of RM5 per month. 30GB is provided in this package, which is an average of 5GB of Internet data per month, but the Internet speed will be limited to 3Mbps.
The package will be open to the B40 low-income group, the aged, the physically challenged (OKU) and veterans and ex-police officers. Participating telecommunications companies include Celcom-Digi, Maxis, U Mobile, TM and YTL Yes.
