Samsung phones may not even come with a USB-C cable anymore!
According to Korean media, Samsung may no longer send USB-C cables from 2023 onwards, and users will need to buy their own cables or use old ones.
Samsung’s flagship phones stopped coming with chargers years ago, meaning users had to pay for their own chargers, or use old ones. Now Samsung is going one step further to “go green” by eliminating even the USB-C cable.
Samsung believes that many households have too many data cables, which are usually left aside, causing unnecessary waste. So Samsung decided to be the first to eliminate data cables in the Galaxy A series models starting in 2023.
This also means that when you buy a Samsung Galaxy A series phone, you will only get the phone and SIM card pin.
However, this news has not been officially confirmed by Samsung.
