Lunar New Year is approaching! Since the Lunar New Year is a national public holiday, all domestic couriers will be on vacation during the Lunar New Year. No parcel will be delivered to the recipient during the vacation.
In line with the arrival of the Lunar New Year, the courier companies have announced the Cut-off Date, which is the last processing date of the courier company before the Lunar New Year. If you want your parcel to be received in the Lunar New Year, then you have to post it before this date.
Pos Laju’s Cut-off Date in West Malaysia is January 27th and in East Malaysia it is January 25th. J&T is open all year round and does not close for Lunar New Year.
For ABX, Skynet and City-Link, the Cut-Off Date is January 31, for Gdex and ninjavan, the last mailing date is January 27 for West Malaysia and January 24 for East Malaysia.
If you post your parcel after the Cut-Off Date, the recipient may have to wait until after the Lunar New Year to receive the parcel and the courier company may not process the parcel until after the Lunar New Year.
