KWSP will begin distribution of the Special Withdrawal Scheme on April 20th.
The special withdrawal from the provident fund will begin on April 20. Due to the huge number of members requesting withdrawals, remittance may take 1 to 3 working days.
The KWSP has announced that the Special Withdrawal Scheme (Pengeluaran Khas) will be paid beginning April 20, 2022. The EPF Board will approve a member’s withdrawal application in stages based on the date the member applies, therefore the period when each member receives their withdrawal may differ.
Because the number of members requesting withdrawals is so big, and the EPF Board has decided to use a one-time payment method of RM10,000 this time, the EPF Board and the bank would need time to handle the massive sum. The monies will be successfully sent to the member’s bank account in 1 to 3 working days.
Members’ application status has gradually been revised by the Provident Fund Board, from PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DITERIMA to PERMOHONAN ANDA TELAH DILULUSKAN. The system also displays the date on which the member will be able to receive payment.
Members who have chosen to get Arahan Bayaran but do not have a bank account will be notified when they will receive it. The member’s preferred EPF branch will also call him or her to clarify the Arahan Bayaran collection.
Members must also travel to RHB Bank to cash out their Arahan Bayaran after collecting it at the EPF branch.
