According to a release from the Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP), the application website for the Provident Fund Special Withdrawal Scheme (Pengeluaran Khas) was launched on 30 March, but members must wait until 1 April to apply for withdrawals.
Members who are interested in applying for the EPF Special Withdrawal Scheme can visit https://pengeluarankhas.kwsp.gov.my/.
When a member joins the withdrawal scheme, EPF Board will allow the member to withdraw from their second account and only withdraw from their first account if there are insufficient funds in their second account. Member’s monthly contribution will then be credited to the first account first until 120% of the withdrawal amount is filled.
Members can check the results of their application from 9 April and the money will be released to them in a lump sum from 20 April.
